At HeartWell Health, we understand that you may have many questions about our practice, services, and membership options. We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions to provide you with the information you need. Whether you're curious about our healthcare approach, membership benefits, or specific health services, our FAQs are designed to give you clear and helpful answers. We provide comprehensive, highly-skilled and experienced, evidence-based care to address your healthcare concerns.  Your physician will listen to you, answer your questions, and be available to you should you have any additional questions or issues.

Having a membership with HeartWell Health allows our physicians to spend more time with you, build a meaningful relationship, and develop a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.  Your membership also means that we can limit the size of our practice and provide access to your caregiver through a dedicated phone line as well as email, being available to you whenever you need to communicate with us.  Your membership allows us to focus on preventive care, and reduce emergency room visits and hospitalizations.

An individual who values having time with their physician to discuss their health issues, as well as those who value wellness, an emphasis on preventive care, and access to  direct communication with their healthcare provider.

Your membership with HeartWell Health is not a substitute for healthcare insurance, and your membership fee only provides extra specific non-clinical services not covered by health insurance or Medicare.  HeartWell Health will file claims for all applicable medical services with your health insurance or Medicare, and you will be responsible for deductibles, copays, and other non-covered expenses related to those services.  We highly recommend that you continue your health insurance or Medicare coverage.

Your membership fee is not eligible for reimbursement by Medicare or health insurance.  The fee, in some cases, may be payable through your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) plan, and you are encouraged to contact your plan administrator for verification regarding your particular plan.

Your membership fee can be paid yearly or monthly by credit card, check, or through an automatic draft from your checking account.   The membership fee is not covered by Medicare or health insurance, but it may be covered through a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) and you are encouraged to contact your plan administrator or human resources representative to address your specific coverage.



HeartWell Health will file claims for all applicable medical services provided with your health insurance or Medicare.  You will be responsible for any co-pay amounts, deductibles, or other related out-of-pocket expenses.

For all emergency related issues, you are to call 911 immediately. 

All healthcare procedures, tests, and services will be billed to your health insurance or Medicare by the performing entity, whether performed by HeartWell Health, other healthcare providers or healthcare facilities.
